Service Description

BankingTerminal is a financial equities research platform that provides market data, sector analysis, stock screening, and related tools for banking and financial-sector stocks. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, or any recommendation to buy, sell, or hold securities.

User Accounts

Certain features require a free account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and promptly update it if anything changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Free & Pro Plans

The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Free accounts are subject to feature limits (e.g., watchlist size). Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your profile settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically access the Service through automated means beyond normal usage.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, servers, or systems connected to the Service.
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit data obtained from the Service without our written permission.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service, including circumventing rate limits or security measures.

Data Accuracy

Financial data displayed on the Service is sourced from third-party providers including marketstack, SEC EDGAR, FRED, and Finnhub. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that data is complete, current, or error-free. Market data may be delayed. You should independently verify any data before making investment decisions.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by BankingTerminal. Financial data is provided under licence from third-party sources. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BankingTerminal and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability and disclaimers) will remain in effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
